ADIPROPE también nombra Embajadores a Federico Mayor Zaragoza y al artista Pedro Sandoval
En un brillante acto celebrado hace unos días en el Auditorio de la Real Casa de Correos, sede de la Presidencia de las Comunidad de Madrid, la Fundación ADIPROPE (Fundación para la Difusión y Promoción del Patrimonio Mundial de España) que preside Ignacio Buqueras, se procedió al nombramiento como de Embajadores Honorarios del Patrimonio Mundial de España a Rafael Ansón, Presidente Fundador y Presidente de Honor de la Academia Internacional de Gastronomía; Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Director General de la UNESCO 1987/1999, y Presidente de la Fundación Cultura de Paz; Mario Sandoval, Premio Nacional de Gastronomía y chef del Restaurante Coque, con dos estrellas Michelin y Pedro Sandoval, artista plástico, hispano-venezolano. Los nuevos Embajadores Honorarios pronunciaron unas breves palabras manifestando su apoyo decidido a nuestro Patrimonio.
Los nuevos Embajadores se unen a la larga lista de personalidades que ostentan el mismo título, representantes de lo mejor de la sociedad española, entre los que están, por nombrar solo algunos, Plácido Domingo, Carmen Posadas, Valentín Fuster, Mario Vargas Llosa, Raphael, el Padre Ángel…
Convenio con FEPET
En los últimos años ADIPROPE ha firmado Convenios de colaboración con prestigiosas instituciones y entidades. En el acto se ratificaron tres Convenios y se firmó uno nuevo. Los ratificados fueron con CEATE, Confederación Española de Aulas de la Tercera Edad, y que estuvo representada por su Presidente, Gonzalo Berzosa; COIIM, Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid, por Carmen Vázquez Cáceres, directora de Comunicación y de Relaciones Institucionales y la RAED, Real Academia Europea de Doctores, con su Vicepresidente Aldo Olcese. El nuevo convenio se firmó con FEPET, Federación Española de Periodistas y Escritores de Turismo, y lo ratificaron Ignacio Buqueras, Presidente de ADIPROPE y Enrique Sancho, Director General de FEPET.
Entre los objetivos de este convenio está la promoción y puesta en valor del patrimonio cultural, natural y etnográfico de los lugares y ciudades de España que forman parte del Patrimonio Universal de la UNESCO, sensibilizando a la sociedad sobre la importancia que tiene este tema. Una de las fórmulas para hacerlo es la organización de viajes a esos destinos de grupos de trabajo formados por representantes de ADIPROPE y periodistas de FEPET. Cabe recordar que, en total, España cuenta con 73 bienes inscritos en las listas de patrimonio de la Unesco (Lista del Patrimonio Mundial y Lista Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial).
Solo referido a Patrimonio de la Humanidad, España es el quinto país con más sitios catalogados con medio centenar de lugares reconocidos, por detrás de Italia, China, Francia y Alemania. Los sitios españoles son muy variados y van desde pinturas rupestres hasta paisajes únicos como el Palmeral de Elche, pasando por la arquitectura del medievo o la modernista de Antoni Gaudí. Los últimos que han merecido esta distinción han sido el Paseo del Prado y buen Retiro. Paisaje de las Artes y las Ciencias de Madrid en 2019 y Menorca talayótica en 2023.
